Batman Director of Photography attends White Lantern Film’s “Future Shorts Bournemouth”
short film festival  sponsored by Channel 4 and the BFI

On Friday 6 March, award-winning director of photography Roger Pratt will launch White Lantern Film’s new quarterly “Future Shorts film festival Bournemouth” short film screening and networking event at Bournemouth Pier Theatre at 8pm.
Hollywood DP, Roger Pratt, has filmed movies including Troy, Harry Potter, Batman and 12 Monkeys and will officially launch the new “Future Shorts Bournemouth” quarterly short film screening and networking event.  “Future Shorts Bournemouth” is a new short film screening and networking event which will take place 4 times a year at Bournemouth Pier Theatre.  At the launch event will also be BAFTA award-winning editor Tony Palmer whose work includes The Killing of John Lennon and Puff Ball; and Emmy, BAFTA and RTS award-winner Eric Harwood who produced the renowned documentary ‘The boy whose skin fell off’.

Films screening include 'Je t'aime, Je t'aime' and an exclusive selection of international short films inspired by love sex and everything in-between together with the best locally produced short films. Also, in association with B.F.I., a rarely seen short film from Jeff Keen, the unsung hero of the British experimental film scene, will be shown ahead of the main program.
Future Shorts is one of the leading and most innovative short film labels in the UK. Since 2003, they have been creating a rapidly expanding network, now besed in 29 countries, allowing filmmakers to screen their work worldwide. Passionately believing in getting short films seen and creating a culture around the medium, Future Shorts is recognised by filmmakers, the industry and press alike as the cutting-edge short film label.

The night promises to be a great networking event for students, film makers and film goers alike.
